This summer JAMS put robotics to the test. Our summer camp students spent two hours a day over five a weeks period tinkering with hundreds of Legos, and programming task oriented robots. The goal was to spark a new avenue of creativity – venturing into the world of engineering and technology.
This school year, JAMS is looking to push pass the beta testing phase and officially induct robotics into the organization's structured programming. A group of ten students will participate as the first class of robotic creators, which will breakdown into two teams of five. These teams will work diligently throughout the year in preparation of the First Lego League tournament. Stay tuned for more updates.
