What a Leader is a competition that cultivates students’ proficiencies in the areas of confidence, critical thinking, interpersonal communication, and professionalism. Through a series of challenges mimicking real-world experiences, students must demonstrate their ability to properly introduce themselves and engage in meaningful, results-oriented conversation. They will learn to network intentionally with cohorts and stakeholders, develop a marketable idea, and conduct themselves in a high-pressured environment. All of which will strengthen our students' ability to be more effective leaders today and the global leaders of tomorrow.
We invite you to attend our North Stars event where our creative students are given the opportunity to showcase their mid-year progress. They demonstrate the individual and collective results of participation with JAMS. Parents, peers, and supporting partners alike all share in this epic evening of talent.
Our creative students enjoy a five-week – nine-hour day art intensive that helps accelerate their learning throughout the summer. The "Summer JAMS" event is a celebratory concert and day of fun-filled activities used to show our appreciation for their commitment to excellence over the summer.
