What kind of leader will your creativity make you this summer?
Summer at Jacksonville Arts & Music School is more than a camp. It’s a place where creativity grows, confidence builds, and youth grades 3-12 discover what they are capable of.
At JAMS Summer Camp, students explore the arts through hands-on learning while also developing the leadership skills that help them succeed both on stage and in life.
Whether students are stepping into the arts for the first time or continuing to grow their talents, JAMS provides a supportive environment where creativity and leadership go hand in hand.
The Creative Experience
Throughout the summer, students participate in a variety of engaging and hands-on creative experiences, including:
Music Exploration – Instruments, Rhythm, and Performance
Vocal Arts – Vocal Technique, and Performance
Dance – Movement, Choreography, and Expression
Theatre – Acting, Storytelling, and Technical Theatre
Film & Media – Storytelling Through Camera, Directing, and Production
Visual Arts – Drawing, Painting, and Creative Design
Leadership Through the Arts
JAMS believes creativity and leadership belong together. Through activities inspired by our What A Leader (WAL) program, students develop the confidence to share ideas, work with others, and step forward as leaders.
By the end of the summer, students leave with more than new artistic skills. They leave with greater confidence, stronger communication abilities, and the courage to lead.
