A Creative Compass - The Intelligent Classroom positions the classroom as the launchpad of a connected creative ecosystem—where intelligence is activated through the exchange between students, educators, technology, and community. In the Intelligent Classroom, innovation enhances learning; collaboration drives creativity, and ideas extend beyond school walls into studios, neighborhoods, and civic spaces. Here, the classroom becomes the foundation for collective intelligence and community-centered creation.

Artist and creative director Kedgar Volta explores how creativity, technology, collaboration, and community can turn learning into an active, participatory experience—inside and beyond the classroom. Drawing from immersive public art and community-centered projects, including The Fragility of the Promise at MOCA Jacksonville and the Legends installation at the Legends Center, he reveals how intentional creative experiences can spark connection, reflection, and meaningful engagement.

Through stories from his practice, Kedgar examines how collaboration drives innovation, technology can deepen human connection, and experimentation—even early failure—supports discovery. Educators and creative leaders will leave with practical inspiration for designing learning experiences that move beyond traditional classroom boundaries and empower students to become active participants in their own creative journeys.
