  • What are the dates for the summer camp?
    June 20, 2023- July 28, 2023
  • What are the hours for summer camp?
    Drop off for summer camp will begin at 8 am. Pick Up for summer camp will begin at 3 pm.
  • Can my student be dropped off earlier?
    No, we cannot accept students before 8 am.
  • Is there an attendance requirement?
    Yes, JAMS Intensive Summer Program requires a 90% attendance rating, 2.5 days to be missed without consequence. If more than 2.5 days of programming time is missed the student may be At jeopardy of incurring additional cost and risking future enrollment for JAMS After-school and Summer Camp program. Our daily schedule of activities is heavily based on the number of students enrolled and individual program area assignment. Our creativity focused programming hours of instruction serve as the foundation of the JAMS organization.
  • How much does the summer camp cost?
    There is a registration fee of $50. There is a weekly fee of $50 that totals to $300 per student for all six weeks.
  • When is payment due for summer camp?
    Payment is due no later than June 19, 2023
  • Can my student attend a portion of the camp?
    No, students must enroll for the entire six weeks of camp.
  • My child received a letter stating they have met the preliminary requirements for a non-audition-based entry. Do they have to pay for summer camp?
    No, any child that has received this letter, will have their summer camp fees waived. JAMS 2023 Summer Camp Scholarships will be applied to cover the cost of tuition.
  • What programs does your summer camp offer?
    JAMS Primary programs are Dance, Film, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, Drama, Music, and Vocal. All students will attend Leadership, Social and Emotional Learning, College and Career readiness, and Masterclasses on a weekly basis.
  • Are meals provided?
    Yes. Breakfast, Lunch, and a light Snack will be provided.

  • What are the registration steps?
    1. Apply using the link on our website. 2. Send all audition requirements to by April 30, 2023 3. All In person auditions will be scheduled for April 29, 2023
  • When will auditions be?
    All Auditions will be scheduled for April 29, 2023 at JAMS
  • What programs need to audition in person?
    All programs except Film have in-person auditions.
  • When will I know if my child has been accepted?
    Acceptance letters will be sent out no later than May 12, 2023.
  • Where do I send my child’s audition files?
    Email your audition files to The subject line for your submission should be (Program Name-Student Name- Audition Packet) Ex. Visual Arts-John Doe- Audition Packet
  • One of my children received a letter stating they have met the preliminary requirements for a non-audition-based entry. Why didn’t all my children receive this letter?
    These letters were sent to students that were selected by JAMS staff based on: 1. Attendance 2. Behavior 3. Participation in their arts area 4. A requisite understanding and knowledge of the program(s) that they are currently in. Students that have received this letter are only able to bypass audition requirements for the program that they are currently enrolled in. If your student wants to change programs, they must audition for the program of interest.
  • Why do students have to audition for summer camp this year? Why the transition?
    Due to a growing need for higher level of instruction JAMS will be requiring auditions for potential campers. Our camp will provide a unique opportunity for students to learn new skills, develop talents, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. By requiring auditions, we ensure that we are selecting the most suitable candidates for our program, that will get the most from the program. We understand that auditions may seem daunting, but we want to assure you that we will make the process as comfortable and supportive as possible. Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive experience for all students who audition.
